lol@ bringing up points about the poker HOF. you think they are regarded as better players? are you joking? have you looked at the list? it's pretty much just comprised of doyle brunson and whoever he said was good "back in the day". sorry to say, but clearly you don't know a thing about poker. i don't even have a dog in this fight, im just pointing out how ridiculous your little argument is. but since i feel the need to teach you something, here you go:

-not winning a horse tournament means nothing here - he has a bracelet in SHOE - so nice try
-you made points about him being good at omaha, stud, etc. now I'd like to point out holdem
- monte carlo millions win.
- 1 wpt win and about 10 final tables
- final tabled wsop main in 09
so clearly he is good in all games.

poker has changed and expanded drastically, and all those old farts who played in the 60s and 70s would get crushed if they had to make their living playing poker these days. all tv pros are overrated now, and they know it. they all know they are laughably outclassed by today's better, online-based players.
i hope you learned something from reading this - because it seems you needed to be taught a little something about poker. just because someone is in the HOF doesn't mean they are considered better than ivey.
